What I’m about:
At the age of six I was writing songs and singing . When I turned 21 I was singing to crowds of 800 or more. I was invited to sing the National Anthem at the Mohegan Sun Arena Football Game in Uncasville, CT to a crowd of 4,000 . I knew then that music is what I needed to do with my life.
I love the public and playing live. I have made guests appearances at various clubs like the Newport Blues Cafe, various benefits, and also some great honky tonks in the area.
In 2005 I have won Best Female Modern Country Vocalist from the Connecticut Country Music Association as well as Best Recording for 2005 for my original single “Moments” which is featured on The CCMA compilation CD.
2006 has been an amazing year:
This winter I played the Wolf Den at Mohegan Sun Casino for 5 consecutive monthly shows! It was a dream come true to be performing on the very stage I have seen so many great country and rock and roll performers.
This spring I attended the national championships for the NACMAI in Nashville Tennessee. It was amazing to visit Nashville the home of country music, meet other up and coming country singers from across the USA, and attend the Grand Old Opry. At the NACMAI Nationals I won the NACMAI Horizon Female Vocalist of the Year 2006!
At the start of the summer I was blessed and proud to release my new album "This Night Belongs To Me". And of course summer time is fair season, it was so much fun to play 6 shows at the Big E, New England's biggest country fair, where I met old and new fans.
